Looking for a hostel where you can stay inexpensively in a unique setting? Then venture to this hostel in the German-speaking region of Belgium. Hostel Ardennen-Eifel is a cosy retreat in the typical style of the Eastern Cantons, with cool wooden accents and picturesque atmosphere. And if you like to be active, just walk around the corner to the sports centre or swimming pool.
Cosiness rules in Sankt Vith
Apart from Eupen, St. Vith is the only town in the German-speaking Community. It was completely destroyed in the Second World War. Now you quickly discover the typical cosy atmosphere of a small town in the East Canton. Shops, restaurants, museums, ... The region of the Belgian Eifel is popular with hikers and mountain bikers in all seasons thanks to numerous hiking trails, the Vennbahn and challenging mountain bike routes.
On snowy winter days, there are opportunities for cross-country skiing and skiing, at the region's various ski centres. As the border triangle with Germany and Luxembourg is a half-hour drive from the Hostel, it can be an international trip, where shoppers and city-hoppers can indulge.

- Train to Vielsalm or Gouvy + Bus (runs only on school days; information at infotec.be)
- The hostel is difficult to reach by public transport. Allow plenty of time.
