De Panne Sea Swim: dive into the North Sea

On Thursday, July 10, 2025, the town of De Panne hosts its annual Sea Swim, a unique open water swimming event in the North Sea. Participants swim 1.5 kilometers along the shoreline, closely monitored by the local lifeguard service. The event is open to both recreational and competitive swimmers aged 14 and up. The Sea Swim is a great opportunity to experience sea swimming in a safe and well-organized setting.
The race starts at 7:30 p.m. from Canadezenplein in De Panne and finishes at De Rampe. Online pre-registration: €4. On-site registration (subject to availability): €5. After the swim, all participants receive a snack and a drink. Fun prizes await the top 3 finishers!
