ParaPanne Cycling Days: international para-cycling event in De Panne

On 29 and 30 May 2025, De Panne once again hosts the ParaPanne Cycling Days, a prestigious international event dedicated to para-cycling. These open races welcome athletes from across the globe. Para-cycling encompasses a range of cycling disciplines adapted for athletes with disabilities. Since not all disabilities are the same, the sport is divided into five categories, each represented by a letter. C refers to standard racing bikes. H stands for handbikes, powered by the arms in a lying or kneeling position. B is for tandems used by visually impaired riders. T (T1 and T2) refers to tricycles, which help maintain balance. And finally, VE is the category for cyclists with an intellectual disability.
