Are you young (or young at heart) and looking for a budget-friendly bed in Limburg? Then Hostel H is the place for you! Hasselt’s first and only hostel is strategically situated behind the station, just a short walk from the centre. The budget hotel has 120 beds for young people, school groups, wheelchair users, backpackers or price-conscious tourists. Don’t expect stereotypical musty hostel rooms here, as the “H” in H Hostel stands for Hip. The accommodation in Belgium has comfortable rooms with private bathrooms. Our recommended hangouts are the backpackers bar and the park near the budget hotel.

Hasselt is a wonderful place to explore by foot. If you enjoy themed self-guided walking routes, you can follow the free art route and explore the Capital of Taste. Or wander down the car-free shopping streets with trendy shops, pavement cafés and gastronomic restaurants. Do you want to get out into nature? Cycling and hiking fans will be endlessly entertained by the region of Limburg, the greenest province in Flanders and Flanders’ Cycling Paradise. - Hostel H is located at the back of the station. Take the pedestrian tunnel towards Spoorwegstraat.

- Street parking: The hostel is located in a blue zone. Visitors must put a parking disc between 9am and 6pm and can park for free for up to 2 hours.

- Coaches: Bus drivers can drop off their passengers at the hostel. There is room for one bus just next to the hostel.
- There is a free bus parking lot on Kolonel Dusartplein (GPS: Congostraat 9, 3500 Hasselt). From there it is about a 20 min walk and 5 min drive.
